The 2nd National Roundtable in Thailand entitled Networking Sustainability for Internationalization was organized by Naresuan University (NU) in cooperation with Prince Songkla University (PSU). This fruitful event was convened on June 20, 2019 at Main Conference, CITCOMs Building, Naresuan University, Phitsanulok, Thailand.
This activity is under Wok Package 8: Sustainability aiming to present strategies and tips to build and maintain networking among universities in HEIs as well as to promote HEIs through Internationalization.
The distinguished keynote speaker, Dr. Jakarin Srimoon, Dean of International College, University of Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) and Executive Director of the Southeast Asian and Latin American Tread Center (SEA-LAC), shared his experiences on international relations, current global trend, international policies, diplomatic strategies et cetera required to boost international status of university. He also presented UTCC Global MBA off-shore in Yangon, Myanmar which is one potential program implemented in international level with great success.
More than 70 interested participants from Naresuan University and universities around Thailand joined this informative event. Given this impression, Naresuan University hopes that the audiences would reap much benefits from contributed and shared knowledge on internationalization and networking and how to properly gear towards them and harvest them into their institutions’ contexts.
